Our Work
Guided walks and experiences at Lough Boora Parklands
Guided Boardwalk Walks
Structured weekly walking sessions along the accessible boardwalk at Lough Boora. We've guided over 150 participants since 2023, with groups of 8–12 adults enjoying a gentle pace and regular rest stops. Each 90-minute session includes wildlife interpretation and local history.
Weekly sessions • 2.5km route • Average age 68
Sculpture Trail Experiences
Guided tours combining short walks with art appreciation. Participants explore 12 contemporary installations across the parklands, learning about artists and cultural context. We've run 24 sessions with strong feedback on the blend of gentle movement and cultural engagement.
12 sculpture locations • 2–3 hour sessions • Art discussion included
Seasonal Nature Walks
Theme-based walking programmes that shift with the seasons. Spring brings wildflower identification, summer focuses on bird behaviour, autumn captures migrating species, and winter explores bare landscape ecology. Over 100 participants have attended our seasonal series since launch.
4 seasonal themes • Monthly walks • Naturalist-led interpretation
Rest & Reflect Sessions
Shorter, social walking experiences designed for those wanting less distance but more connection. Small groups (6–8 people) walk 1.5km with extended time at scenic spots for conversation and refreshment. Ideal for building friendships and community within the parklands.
